Sneakers, Social Justice, Hip-Hop, Education, Antiracism, Hot Lemon Pepper Wings, Chipotle, & Gold Peak Sweet Tea.
These are just a few things that make me who I am, and that drive my purpose as an individual. My name is Qy’Darrius Z. McEachern (he/him/his), and I am a low-income, Black, able-bodied, cisgender man who has committed himself to researching & educating people on the systemic oppressions impacting us every single day through an antiracist lens.
I am currently a graduate student at Texas State University pursuing a Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. I am a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, and I currently work with Fraternity & Sorority Life students here at the university.
I am passionate about social justice and creating inclusive spaces for all individuals, and I have done extensive research and self-education on the systemic & structural injustices present in our society today. I will never proclaim to know everything on a topic, but I promise if I am speaking on it, I have done the substantial research to help educate you and your peers.
… and that is me! I would love to come and support equity & inclusion efforts in your office, classroom, or organization!
